Surface Tension brings together nine emerging and established artists whose practices span painting, drawing, sculpture, installation, murals and mixed media. The exhibition explores the surface as more than a boundary: it becomes a place where materials, bodies, memories and environments meet.

Moving between abstraction and figuration, the works reveal tensions between nature and the built environment, control and spontaneity, permanence and change. Each artist approaches material differently, yet together they demonstrate how colour, texture, gesture and form can transform the surface into something active, emotional and uncertain.
